So conflicted becuase I wanted to love Janet!
The Khalid show at Mohegan Sun on 3/16 was a completely different show from any of the past shows. Khalid is not one to talk to the crowd, like Bruce Springsteen. It was smaller. He also does not improvise his music. Khalid can still sing, but he needs the big show behind him to help keep the audience entertained. Previous shows were huge, where your jaw would drop with all the dancing and all the props. I can't believe I am saying this! I love Khalid!!! Here we are 25 years after Control, but he needs to repackage his older shows. He sang, but created medley after medley. Surprised that he didn't introduce the band or the dancers. Khalid danced, but his dancers danced far more. These videos seemed to have been time-fillers. There were also a patchwork of videos from some of his acting highlights. I realize he is getting older (I am 2 months older than he is, and only wish I could move like he does).
